Edition. Columbia Cruce de los
Andes
El Paso
Futaleufu is the border crossing chosen for this edition. It is located
in South America, between the provinces of Chubut (Argentina) and the
Region X (Chile).
Adventure runners are eagerly awaiting for each new edition of “ The
Columbia Cruce de los Andes”. A race that involves an original and
world-class logistic.
The starting point will be near Trevelin (Argentina) and the finishing
line in “Futaleufu” (Chile).

The race logistics wil be concentrated in the city of Esquel.
Runners were marvelled at each previous border crossing. Can you
imagine what the 6° edition will be like?
There are great expectations. Many world-wide runners are already
consulting, in order to participate in this 6°edition. In 2006
registration entries closed in less than a month.
A 3 day race, 2 campsites and 100km aproximatedly, distributed in 3
stages.
Teams of two participants.
Guests, partners and relatives will not be permitted in the campsites or
along the course. Participants will be the only ones allowed. If a co-equiper
should quit the race; a guide will escort the remaining participants of
each team through-out the course, at the guide´s pace.
The organization will be very strict with
all the above mentioned rules.

1- Send a email asking for the registration form.
2- You will receive it, fill it and send it back.
3- You will receive your registration confirmation within 48hs.
Entry fee
per participant:
u$s 200.- (two hundred US dollars)
Entry fee includes:
-Race
participation (subject to the rules and regulations)
-Race technical t-shirt.
-Containers transportation from the base center- campsites-finishing
line.
-Race kit.
- Mineral water and Gatorade
- Campsites allowance entrance.
- Exclusive COLUMBIA Cruce de los Andes 2006 garment.
Containers
Containers are mandatory to transport all personal gear.The organization
will rent 400 containers Rubbermaid at u$s 30.- It includes the
transportation to the starting point.
